It is very important to eat a well balanced diet and avoid excessive snacks between meals especially that are sticky or sugary things like candy.
Be kind to your gums.
Keep an eye on your gums for signs of gum disease. Gums that are swollen, they are red, they are bleeding or having a persistent bad breath are signs that you have to visit your dentist immediately.

Brush your teeth thoroughly at least 2 times a day. Remember to brush your teeth about 2 ½ to 3 minutes.
