3. You should wear sunglasses.

The skin around the area of your eyes is one of the thinnest on your body, thus making it susceptible to UltraViolet rays (UV). If you wear the right pair of sunglasses, you’ll be able to protect your vision from the harmful UVs of the sun.

Your eyes getting too much UV exposure will only increase your risks of getting macular degeneration and cataracts. Too much exposure to UV rays can also result in skin cancer such as carcinoma and melanoma. This is why it’s essential for you to wear sunglasses every time you go outside.

4. Always wear safety eyewear.

There are times that you handle hazardous chemicals or any airborne materials, and these can damage your vision. Also, you may be doing sports such as bungee jumping, ice hockey, or football that may lead to your eyes getting injured.

5. Look away from the screen.

Our world is full of equipment that has screens, and each day you deal with these devices such as your laptop, smartphones, or your television.

However, you should still look away from time to time and take time to rest your eyes when staring for extended periods of time.
