It might be easy for you to say that you’re willing to lose weight, but let me ask you a question. If you take serious action in losing weight, do you think it is easy this time? For me, absolutely no way that it’s going to be easy.

  • Expect that you may be hungry for most of the time. Your stomach will crave for most of the time and might experience some headache and weaknesses.

  • Expect that you may have a lack of concentration and focus on your daily activities and priorities due to your body’s adjustment.

If you’re experiencing any or all of these expectations above, it means you’re now in progress of losing the unwanted pounds you have. If you’re struggling to cope up with your weight loss journey, you’re not alone. There are a lot of people who are also experiencing the same journey like you do. But that’s not all, though. You will also be experiencing health complications anytime such as heart enlargement, high cholesterol, diabetes, fatty liver and so on. Preventive solutions are essential for these kinds of chronic illnesses, but losing weight would be one of the best choices you have for good.

2 – Your body needs to have a better and balanced metabolism

Another important reason that you need to lose weight is no other than better metabolism. The reason that you need to have a great body metabolism is for you to have a great amount of fuel to be used after eating foods. For those of you who are obese and overweight, this is great news for you. Heavy ones actually have faster metabolisms than those who are a little overweight and fit. Losing weight can make you feel good in terms of getting a balanced body metabolism. In order for you to naturally boost metabolism, try to eat to magnesium-rich foods, vitamin B, weightlifting or so.

3 – Your body needs to be in perfect shape

Are you still happy with the love handles and “Big J” shaped stomach you have? If you are, keep going until you’re sick and tired of it. If you take a closer look at those people with slim bodies, six packs or so, they are the ones who are in perfect shape. Not only that, they are considered to have perfect health (unless they didn’t do something to prevent chronic illness from getting worse). They can wear fitted clothes and jeans that they want.

Speaking of jeans, do you have one that you would like to wear, but your waistline is big? Losing weight and staying fit at the same time can make your body in perfect shape as your families, friends, and colleagues or so will always be attracted to your physique.

4 – To increase your stamina and resistance

Aside from the three reasons above, increasing resistance and stamina is a valuable and essential one. However, you need to do some regular exercising to start experiencing this one day at a time. One of the best exercises for you to increase stamina and resistance is no other than outdoor biking. Other exercises you can do are cardio types, aerobics, yoga, stretching, doing household chores, outdoor activities or so. How would you feel if you already have increased stamina and resistance? For sure, you’ll feel great once and for all.

To be honest with you guys, this is actually one of my favorite reasons to lose weight. I remember that time when I was overweight during my early 20’s, people recognize me that I am already on my 30’s. I know that kind of feeling, though, and for sure you can relate to this one. A few years later, I decided to lose weight and change my lifestyle.

There’s nothing wrong with eating your favorite foods every day, but make sure that you do it moderately. Just stay away from temptations that would ruin your weight loss journey in which that was my biggest mistake a few years ago.
