It also comes with a cookbook and has a shut-off switch if it overheats. To clean it, all you need is soap and water.

What you may not like is that it is noisy and any setting that is above five will make it vibrate. You also do not get multi-functionality as it cannot grind coffee or nuts.


The VITAMIX S-Series S55Is an attractive blender, that comes in a stainless steel finish. The material is durable, and you are sure that you will get long term usage out of it.  The blade is laser cut and made from stainless steel. It is ideal for smoothies, dips or any other low liquid recipe. You have four pre-programmed settings and are very portable. It has a 20 and 40 oz BPA-free container and will fit in most cup holders.

What you may not like is that the containers are small, and you will not be able to use it for large meals. It is also not suitable for making the dough.

5. VITAMIX 7500

The VITAMIX 7500 low-profile blender is excellent if you want to create a smooth puree or soup. You can also use it for a wide range of recipes due to the hardened stainless steel blades.   The 64-ounce container will allow you to make meals for a large number of people.  The blender has ten variable speeds and comes in black, white and red.

What you may not like is that it does not have an inbuilt timer, a stirring rod or touch screen control.
